| Form and volume have always been important in my paintings. Now, in sculpture, they truly are three dimensional. I am and always have been an image maker and the animals I create are in response to the consumption and disrespect of animal life. I often use humor to seduce the viewer, and then hope they find the message once it has their attention. I enjoy the new possibilities and expansion of my visual vocabulary, knowing each medium will enrich the other. |
