My New Works are in response to a need to shake loose from old patterns. Living in Europe and working away from familiar support groups have challenged my habitual ways of working and seeing. The desire to "get it right" or to be literal has been replaced with a search for freedom. I have begun to give up things long revered, including certainty, to find my own way. Risk, play and freedom are now my working goals.
