The stories of my childhood ranged from Uncle Remus to Grimm Brothers Fairy Tales. My paintings about animals come from these fables, myths, art history and observations of the societies around me. Animals play significant roles in these stories and in my paintings. The tension between animal and human and how they relate intrigues me.
