ARTIST STATEMENT
My paintings celebrate the figure and the possibilities of paint. Myth and spiritualism are used to create depth and substance -- striking a universal theme on a transpersonal level. Many allegories began from my own search for meaning where, over the years, magic, myth and the feminine converged into a powerful medium. I paint in search of this lost sacredness. My wish is to empower viewers and raise their consciousness about themselves and about their own shared place in the world.
